Three Cylinder Engine

Ptech has developed the three cylinder engine with flexibility in mind, the design can be adjusted easily to suite your requirements and performance specification.

  • All aluminium lightweight design (1lt circa 55kg).

  • 4 valve DOHC.

  • Chain or belt drive to camshafts.

  • Modular design with potential for V6 or flat 6 variants.

  • One piece crankcase with end loaded crankshaft.

  • Cross flow cooling system with potential for separate head and block cooling.

  • Suitable for capacities up to 1200cc.

  • Power output of 80hp/litre in NA form and 105hp/litre in turbo form.

  • Suitable for race applications, with output up to 200bhp/litre.
